Yes. Some of our customers have their own deflashing equipment and they use Alternative Flash when their equipment is down for maintenance or they need a fast, dependable answer to their capacity problems. Other customers use our service for parts they cannot finish in their equipment.
As the largest custom deflashing service in the USA, we enjoy economies of scale that allow us to be a cost effective alternative to maintaining outdated and inefficient finishing operations in-house.
There is a way we can help you probably won’t find anywhere else. Since we have operated many sizes, types and brands of finishing equipment in a PRODUCTION environment as opposed to a LAB environment, we can give you first-hand knowledge of the equipment that is right for you. Process settings and instructions are unique to each part number. Routings and machine setups are utilized by personnel to ensure consistency between orders.
Every order received is assigned and labeled with a Job Identification number. This allows us to maintain traceability from receipt, through production and shipment. We can maintain traceability to any level you require.
We realize we are often the last step in the production process, leaving little room to spare. We will do everything we can to accommodate your needs. UPS, FedEx, or other overnight orders received in the morning will often ship the same afternoon. Larger shipments are typically completed in a day or two. If you’re in a rush, let us know.
